Runecrafting has long been considered one of the most painful skills in OSRS due to the slow XP rates and repetitive altar running. Guardians of the Rift changed things somewhat, but the grind is still significant.
Why Bot Runecrafting?
Runecrafting to 77 (for blood runes) takes a very long time. Altar running involves banking, filling pouches, running to the altar, crafting, and running back. Guardians of the Rift is faster but requires constant attention. Either way, automating runecrafting saves enormous amounts of time compared to doing it manually.
What to Look For
Abyss runecrafting scripts are the traditional approach. GOTR (Guardians of the Rift) scripts are newer but generally faster XP and more engaging. Pouch support is essential for any runecrafting script — the script should fill and empty pouches automatically. Check if the script supports the specific altar or minigame you want.
