Fishing is a classic AFK skill in OSRS, but getting to higher levels still takes a significant time investment. From shrimp at level 1 to anglerfish at 82, the training methods stay pretty similar throughout.
Why Bot Fishing?
Fishing is one of the safest skills to bot because the gameplay is already semi-AFK — real players often barely interact with the game while fishing. A fishing bot just does the clicking for you, and the natural idle periods between catches make the behavior pattern look very similar to a legitimate player.
What to Look For
Barbarian fishing is the fastest XP method. Monkfish and anglerfish are good for money. Look for scripts that handle fish spots moving, bank when inventory is full, and support power-fishing (dropping fish for pure XP). Fishing Guild and Catherby are common locations.
