Woodcutting is one of the most straightforward gathering skills in OSRS. Click a tree, wait for it to fall, bank or drop the logs, repeat. The simplicity makes it one of the most commonly botted skills.
Why Bot Woodcutting?
Woodcutting is safe, simple, and one of the easiest skills to bot. The gameplay is already semi-AFK, and the behavior pattern of a woodcutting bot is very similar to a legitimate player. It is often the first skill new botters automate because the risk-to-reward ratio is favorable.
What to Look For
Yew and magic trees are the best money. Teak trees at Ape Atoll or Fossil Island are the best XP. Look for scripts that handle tree respawn, nest collection, and bird's nest opening. Power chopping (dropping logs) is faster XP than banking.
