Cooking is one of the easiest and cheapest 99s in Old School RuneScape. The training loop is simple — cook food at a range or fire, bank, repeat — which makes it straightforward to automate.
Why Bot Cooking?
While cooking is fast to train manually, it still requires hundreds of bank trips and thousands of clicks. A cooking bot handles the entire loop and can run through thousands of fish or other food items without you sitting at the screen. It is also a common first bot for beginners because the risk is low.
What to Look For
The Hosidius kitchen range has a lower burn rate than any other range, so scripts that support it are more efficient at lower levels. For higher levels, POH cooking is also popular. Wine making is the fastest XP method but requires a script that handles the tick-perfect timing.
